Beauty is God's Handwriting...

Hey everyone!

Well, lovely Louise over at Southern Girl's Challenge has blown me away by keeping me on the DT for another term. So... for our first challenge we were using a quote or saying for inspiration.

I have had this transparency saying "Beauty is God's handwriting" for years and never used. I'm terribly slack like that. And when I found these pictures of the wee one with some monarch butterflies, I just knew now was the time to use it.

This is what I came up with:

I love it and I hope you find something you enjoy about it. I know my post is a bit late, but there is still some of April left to come join in the same challenge at Southern Girl's, or come join in our mid-month challenge.

Either way, we'd love to see what you create.

Now... who did what I did and ate FAR TOO MANY Easter eggs recently?? Nom nom nom!! :)

Show us your Sparkle!

SouthernGirlsChallenge challenge for January is all about showing us your sparkle. What a great way to bring in the new year! So, I couldn't resist taking this opportunity to scrap Luke and his friend, Stacey. Since they've been toddlers there has been a spark between them... and it's always her chasing him! LOL.

Not sure I ended up liking the LO (actually, I don't), but that often happens and others do like it - beauty is always in the eye of the beholder. So, hopefully, you will like it. The stars were stamped with silver ink and then I glittered over them. So, come over and show us your sparkle by doing the January challege with SouthernGirls.

Wishing you all the best for 2012, hoping you had a fantastic festive season and thanks for dropping by.
